The Walking Hub is a Finalist (Again!) in the Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards 🎉

We’ve got some exciting news to share… The Walking Hub has once again been named a finalist in the Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards 2025! 🥳

This year’s awards saw a record-breaking number of entries — with 85 exceptional businesses across the county recognised for their excellence, creativity, and dedication to giving visitors unforgettable experiences in Herefordshire. From B&Bs and pubs to attractions and retailers, the range of talent on display really shows what a vibrant tourism scene we’re lucky to be part of.

For us at The Walking Hub, it’s a real honour to be standing alongside so many amazing local businesses. Running a little independent shop and B&B in Kington can be hard work at times, but moments like this remind us why we do it — to share our love of walking, good food, and barefoot shoes with visitors who want to experience Herefordshire in a more thoughtful, down-to-earth way.

The next step is an on-site assessment by independent judges (gulp!) and then the winners will be revealed at the big ceremony in February 2026. Whether we come home with an award or not, we already feel like winners just being recognised as part of such an inspiring group of people.
