We Won 🏆 🎉
Wow, what a night! We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Visit Herefordshire Tourism Awards, and I just have to share the experience with you.
The event was held at the stunning Lyde Court, a beautifully restored barn nestled in the Herefordshire countryside. The atmosphere was magical with twinkling lights, rustic charm, and a room full of inspiring people. Just being there felt exciting!

⭐️ Responsible, Ethical & Sustainable Business
⭐️ Unsung Hero
As you can imagine, the anticipation was HUGE as the winners were announced.
The Sustainable Business Award went to The Riverside at Aymestrey and quite rightly so! They were the stars of the night, taking home multiple awards, including Business of the Year. (If you haven’t already, check out my “Perfect Weekend Getaway” on the Mortimer Trail - you’ll get to stay a night there!)
The Unsung Hero Award went to Simon Lockett, the brilliant mind behind the Golden Valley Pilgrim Way. He’s an all-round lovely guy, and this well-deserved award highlights the impact his trail is having on walkers discovering Herefordshire.
I was totally chuffed and very, very surprised to be called up to collect it. I’ll paste the video here so you can see my very happy (and slightly shocked) reaction!
What an incredible evening celebrating Herefordshire’s best and meeting so many amazing people. A huge thank you to the organisers for putting on such a fantastic event. Already looking forward to next year!
Can't seem to post the video 🤷♀️ Oh well.... Here's a photo instead!
