ITINERARY

  • First Night: Arrive at The Walking Hub

    Aim to be at The Hub sometime after 4:30 to get settled in. Receive maps and trail advice as needed. Eat out in Kington and rest easy with a comfortable night at The Hub. Free overnight parking available in the town car park.

  • DAY 1: Ludlow to Aymestrey 13.5 miles

    Enjoy a wholesome breakfast at The Hub before Ali drops you in Ludlow. Start at Ludlow castle and follow the Mortimer Trail approximately 13.5 miles to the delightful village of Aymestrey. Enjoy your Walking Hub picnic lunch along the way and end the day at The Riverside where you can enjoy their signature 'farm to plate' meal before retiring for the night in one of their gorgeous rooms

  • DAY 2: Aymestrey to Kington 16.5 miles

    Breakfast provided by the Riverside pub before setting off along the trail again for another 16.5 miles back to Kington. Having completed the Mortimer Trail from end to end you'll want to relax and spend another night at The Walking Hub with breakfast the next morning before heading home.
