Staying at The Walking Hub
Our small B&B sits above The Walking Hub shop, offering simple, comfortable
accommodation in a characterful old building right on Kington’s High Street.
Most guests arrive mid-journey - often walking the Offa’s Dyke Path - while others stay a little longer to explore the surrounding hills, visit the shop, or take part in one of our walking experiences.
It’s a relaxed, come-as-you-are kind of place. Evenings are often spent chatting over tea, sharing stories from the trail, or simply resting before the next day’s walk.
What to expect
The building is old and full of character, which means access to the bedrooms is via a steep, winding staircase - something to keep in mind if mobility is a concern.
The bathroom is shared, and the atmosphere is informal and friendly, with a shared living space where guests can relax and unwind.
Rooms
We have three simple, cosy guest rooms - two doubles and one twin.
Each room is clean, uncluttered and thoughtfully set up for rest, with comfortable mattresses and natural bedding to help you get a good night’s sleep.
The space sleeps up to six guests, or up to eight by prior arrangement - for walking groups, friends or families planning time on the trail.
Breakfast
Breakfast is simple, nourishing and mostly plant-based - with homemade granola, organic yoghurts, fresh fruit, local sourdough and warming bowls of porridge.
It’s designed to set you up well for a day of walking, with options to suit different dietary
needs.
Packed Lunches
You can also order a homemade packed lunch: a simple, hearty option for a day out on the trail.
Getting here
We love welcoming guests travelling by public transport - Kington is well connected by bus from Hereford (461/462), and we’re always happy to help you plan a car-free stay.
If you’re arriving by car, there’s a free town car park just a short walk away, along with a
nearby EV charging point.
