LEKI is a German company with a long history of designing some of the world’s most respected walking, trekking and Nordic walking poles. Founded in 1948 by Karl Lenhart in the Black Forest region of Germany, the brand name “LEKI” comes from the first letters of his surname and hometown — Lenhart of Kirchheim.

Unlike many outdoor brands that spread across multiple product categories, LEKI has remained highly specialised for decades, focusing almost entirely on poles and hand-grip systems. That single-minded approach has made them a trusted choice amongst mountain walkers, trail runners, Nordic walkers and professional athletes around the world.

LEKI are known for their exceptional build quality, comfort and innovation, particularly their ergonomic grip systems, adjustable pole technology and lightweight yet durable materials. Many of their poles are designed and developed in Europe, with a strong emphasis on longevity and repairability rather than disposable outdoor gear.
