Looking for a little more cushioning without losing the ground feel you love about barefoot shoes? The Freet ReBound sits neatly between Freet's minimal 3mm Flexile insole and the more cushioned 6mm Ortholite.
Made from responsive ETPU, the ReBound is designed not simply to cushion your foot, but to return energy as you move. At just 4mm thick, it adds protection and comfort underfoot while still maintaining excellent flexibility and connection with the ground.
It's a particularly good choice for longer walks, running, travelling or spending extended periods on hard surfaces, when a very minimal insole can sometimes leave feet feeling tired.
Which Freet insole should I choose?
- Flexile 3mm – Choose this for maximum ground feel and a more minimal barefoot experience. Great for everyday wear and lighter walking.
- ReBound 4mm – Choose this when you want a little more protection plus responsive energy return, without adding too much thickness. Ideal for longer distances, running and harder surfaces.
- Ortholite 6mm – Choose this for maximum cushioning and shock absorption. Particularly useful for long days on hard surfaces or if you're transitioning into barefoot footwear and aren't quite ready for a very minimal sole.
ReBound details:
- 4mm stack height
- Responsive ETPU construction for energy return
- Excellent balance of cushioning and ground feel
- Closed-cell material doesn't absorb water
- Quick drying
- Antibacterial, moisture-moving top sheet
- Helps keep the foot secure inside the shoe
- Extremely lightweight – approximately 14g per pair in size 42
- Ideal for harder surfaces and longer distances
A great way to add a little extra comfort to your barefoot shoes without turning them into conventional cushioned footwear.
