Nikwax Tech Wash

Nikwax Tech Wash is absolutely essential for care of your Paramo Jacket or any waterproof and breathable fabric.  Conventional laundry detergents leave behind a water attractive (hydrophilic) residue which masks the Durable Water Repellency (DWR), causing fabrics to absorb water and ‘wet out’ in damp or wet conditions. Therefore, they need to be avoided when cleaning waterproof clothing and equipment.

Nikwax takes great care to minimise the effect of Nikwax products on the environment and on you, the consumer. Nikwax avoids materials in its cleaners like palm oil, which may be sourced from unsustainable plantations. Nikwax Tech Wash^® is environmentally friendly; it is non-hazardous, WaterBased and biodegradable.

Returns Policy

If you’d like to return or exchange an item for any reason, please get in touch with us first by calling 07756 172160 or emailing thewalkinghub@gmail.com.

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is in perfect condition – unworn, with tags still attached, and in its original packaging.

For high-value items, we strongly recommend using a tracked or recorded delivery service, as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit.

If your item was faulty or damaged upon arrival, we’ll happily refund your return postage costs as well.

If you need a different size or style, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order. This helps ensure the new item is reserved and sent out to you as quickly as possible.

Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of faulty or damaged goods.

Shipping

The delivery charges for your order are calculated in accordance with our delivery rates as set out on our site, and are shown separately on the order confirmation. Our aim is to despatch your order the next working day. Please note that all despatch and delivery times are approximate. Many products are sent via our approved carrier and must be signed for. The standard delivery within the UK is a 48 hour service usually sent via Royal Mail or Evri, so orders should be with you within 3-4 working days. If any products are damaged on arrival, please notify this to the carrier at the time if possible. Then also please notify us and return in accordance with the information set out below in Exchanges and Returns.
