Our special winter boot – warm, cosy, grippy and ready for pretty much whatever winter has in store.
The Xero Shoes Women’s Alpine is a seriously insulated, 100% vegan-friendly winter boot designed for cold weather, snow and the trail – without sacrificing the natural movement and comfort we want from barefoot footwear.
Heading off to the Alps? Perfect. The Alpine has a fully seam-sealed inner bootie, a waterproof membrane in the upper and plenty of insulation to keep your feet protected when the weather turns properly wintry. Underfoot there’s a substantial, lugged sole for dependable grip, making this a genuinely useful option for winter trails, walking and even snowshoeing. The sole is 9mm thick, with a 3.5mm removable insole.
But you certainly don’t need a ski holiday to justify a pair. We love the Alpine because it crosses over so easily from trail to town. Wear it for a winter walk, muddy paths and cold-weather adventures, then pair it with your favourite jeans – or even a skirt – for a cosy everyday winter boot.
We reckon they’ll make a great trail boot too, and we think that versatility is their real strength: warm and capable enough for proper winter adventures, but good-looking and comfortable enough to wear every day.

Returns Policy
If you’d like to return or exchange an item for any reason, please get in touch with us first by calling 07756 172160 or emailing thewalkinghub@gmail.com.
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is in perfect condition – unworn, with tags still attached, and in its original packaging.
For high-value items, we strongly recommend using a tracked or recorded delivery service, as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit.
If your item was faulty or damaged upon arrival, we’ll happily refund your return postage costs as well.
If you need a different size or style, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order. This helps ensure the new item is reserved and sent out to you as quickly as possible.
Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases of faulty or damaged goods.

Shipping
The delivery charges for your order are calculated in accordance with our delivery rates as set out on our site, and are shown separately on the order confirmation. Our aim is to despatch your order the next working day. Please note that all despatch and delivery times are approximate. Many products are sent via our approved carrier and must be signed for. The standard delivery within the UK is a 48 hour service usually sent via Royal Mail or Evri, so orders should be with you within 3-4 working days. If any products are damaged on arrival, please notify this to the carrier at the time if possible. Then also please notify us and return in accordance with the information set out below in Exchanges and Returns.
