Kitting customers out for our local trails is where it all started for us. The Barefoot Shoe Box grew out of The Walking Hub, a specialist walking and outdoor footwear shop — and that heritage runs through everything we do.

Now we can't imagine being on the trail in a conventional pair of heavy, stiff, thick-soled walking boots. This collection offers you a way to connect with the earth beneath your feet, the way nature intended.

These models are chosen for grip, protection and durability on uneven ground — often with deeper lugs, weather resistance and just enough underfoot structure to handle rough terrain while still preserving natural movement and barefoot feel.

Best suited to woodland paths, muddy fields, hills and mountain trails — wherever you want your feet to feel confident and comfortable. Versatile and dependable, many of these shoes are also worn day-to-day.
