Correct Toes

Introducing Correct Toes

The Walking Hub is really excited to introduce you to Correct Toes, an easy way to correct problem toes and the perfect complement to toe socks and barefoot shoes. Designed by American Sports podiatrist and elite distance runner Dr Ray McClanahan to give us back that natural toe splay essential for long-term foot health

Spread your toes

Designed to help the foot rehabilitate from the negative effects of conventially shaped footwear. They are made of soft, flexible silicone that encourage the toes back into their natural alignment found at birth. With progressive and consistent use while active and weight bearing, toes align and feet strengthen, restoring your foot's original position and function

How to wear them

Correct Toes recommend wearing them initially for 30 minutes a day and adding 30 minutes each day. They come in 4 different sizes based on your shoe size and can be modified to fit your own unique feet. They're designed to be worn when being active (unlike other cheaper brands) and not while sleeping. You can wear them barefoot or with toe socks and are a perfect addition to barefoot shoes.  Conventional shoes won't be wide enough, so now might the time to make that transition over to a pair of minimalist/barefoot shoes that allow flexibility and freedom of movement for full articulation and natural movement of your feet.

Allopathic vs Naturopathic

It's worth listening to Dr McClanahan explain why it makes sense to follow a more naturopathic approach to treat feet rather than the more conventional approach of drugs, orthotics or surgery.
